EERSF presented its experience in financing energy efficiency in public buildings
Invited by the project “Concerted Action for Energy Efficiency Directive”, EERSF took part in the Fourth Working Group “Funding renovation of 3% of the central government buildings” which took place on 22 of October 2013 in Vilnius.
EERSF was presented as an example for the “National Energy Efficiency Fund, funding and technical support”. In accordance with Article 20 of the new Directive 2012/27/EU for energy efficiency, all member states should establish national funds to support the renovation of 3% annually from government buildings through the use of innovative financial mechanisms.
