EERSF financed projects of schools and kindergardens in Stara Zagora Municipality, together with Kozloduy International Fund.

Energy efficiency projects are scheduled to be completed in Stara Zagora Municipality until the beginning of the new school year. Reconstruction in “Mityo Stanev” V-th High School, “Maxim Gorky” Average School as well as “Svetulka” and “Mir” Kindergarden are part of the project “Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings in Stara Zagora.”

Projects are financed by the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources Fund, together with Kozloduy International Fund.

Among planned energy-efficiency measures are: complete replacement of existing old windows, installation of facade thermal insulation and roof insulation.

Expected energy savings of the project will generally improve comfort for the students and children and will provide better conditions for learning, cost reduction of electricity and heating as well as savings of greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 491 CO2 eq. per year, totally for all four projects.
