On the 10th of February 2012 the Fourth discussion forum on Transparent Energetics Project took place in The Bulgarian Industrial Association building. The event was held under the moto “Energy efficiency – main priority for sustainable economy”. Sponsors of the Forum were 3eNews Information Portal, together with Bulgarian Industrial Association and the Institute for Energy Management, along with the cooperation of Bulgarian Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources Fund.

The main highlights of the discussion were focused on the possibilities the legislation provides for energy efficiency in Bulgaria and EU for reducing harmful emissions, guaranteeing the competitiveness and sustainable development of the economy, institutional processes support, different methods for energy efficiency realization.

The executive director of EERSF, Mr. D.Dukov presented the Fund’s financing products for energy efficiency projects. Mr. Dukov also gave the audience a piece of information about the Permanent project under Intelligent Energy for Europe Project which main purpose is to support popularization of the method for Measuring and verification of savings, as well as to encourage the public understanding of energy savings.
