Bulgarian Energy Efficiency Fund (BEEF) was presented within an information event on energy efficiency in building sector in Bulgaria, which was organized by German-Bulgarian Industry-Trade Chamber (GBITC). The event was held on 21st of October, 2009 in Berlin, Germany. It was attended by the Chair of the GBITC – Mr. Mitko Vasilev, the First Secretary of the Trade Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria in Federal Republic of Germany – Ms. Galina Laleva, and the Director of Directorate in Energy Efficiency Agency – Ms. Snezhana Todorova, as well as representatives of German companies in the energy efficiency scope that show investor interest in energy efficiency sector in Bulgaria. The Deputy Executive Director of BEEF, Mr. Marko Markov, presented the Bulgarian Energy Efficiency Fund as he described the work principles and the rules of financing and presented in details some of the best practice projects which were implemented with the support of BEEF.
