The series of seminars on the topic “Diminish your Energy Expenses with the Bulgarian Energy Efficiency Fund” was continued with the implementation of two successive events – on the 17th of May 2007 in Blagoevgrad and on the 18th of May 2007 in the town of Montana.

The aim of the seminars was to allow the participants to take a first-hand look at the financial and technical parametres of energy efficiency projects, eligible for BgEEF financing. They were also introduced to completed projects followed by a chance to discuss specific project ideas with the present experts. The seminar in Montana was officially opened by the Regional governor of Montana, Mr. Todor Varbanov, and the Mayor of Montana, Mr. Zlatko Zhivkov. Mrs. Daniela Nakova, Chief expert for investment in the Montana Municipality, introduced the opportunities for project financing in the field of energy efficiency through the utilisation of funds from the EU.
