The programme “Intelligent Energy – Europe” financed project EESI2020 – “European Energy Service Initiative 2020” in order to provide information and support of European cities and regions for introduction of ESCO contracts in their energy schemes. For this purpose, training of experts in the scope of energy services as independent consultants on ESCO projects is foreseen. The team of European Labour Institute created a film story about ESCO contracts – what they are, for what kind of projects they are suitable, how they are financed, what the benefit is. In this film is presented the implemented project for energy efficiency reconstruction of University for National and World Economy hostels – blocks №№ 9, 26, 38 and 40A in “Darvenitsa – 2” Residential Area, Sofia City, which was financed by Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources Fund.
