EERSF took part at the High-level International Forum to Promote ESCO Industry Development and Energy Efficiency Financing

Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources Fund participated in the high-level International Forum to promote ESCO Industry Development and Energy Efficiency Financing with the invitation of the World Bank and National Development Reform Commission of China.

The event was organized by China Association of Energy Services Companies. The Fund’s presentation was included in the Market Mechanisms for EE financing and ESCOs workshop. The Fund was invited to present its operation and activities regarding the EE projects and their financing schemes for newly established ESCO companies.

The application of various financial mechanisms and schemes for guaranteeing loans and receivables of ESCO companies in Bulgaria turned out to be of special interest to all participants. Low default rate in the Fund’s portfolio and lack of loses was identified as a key indicator for successful operation and measured market risk.
