Pernik Municipality organized Energy efficiency forum

On the 25th of January 2011, an Energy Efficiency Forum took place in the town of Pernik, sponsored by Pernik Municipality. The meeting was conducted under the initiative of the Mayor of Pernik – Mrs. Rosica Yanakieva.

Mr. Dimitar Dukov – Executive director of BEEF, Mr. Kolio Kolev – Executive director of Energy Efficiency Agency and representatives of Pernik Chamber of commerce and Sofia Chamber of commerce participated in the forum. Mr. Dukov presented BEEF activity, stages and requirements for applying for financing a project, the opportunities for financing as well as completed projects.

This Energy Efficiency forum is one of the main tasks, included in the Energy Efficiency Plan of Pernik Municipality and the strategy for its fulfillment for the period 2007-2013. and in response of the guidelines in the National program for energy efficiency untill 2015.
