On the 11th of March 2010, the National annual conference for sustainable building and energy efficiency BuildinGreen took place in Inter Expo Center. The forum sponsors put an emphasis on the energy effective constructing and related legislation, financing schemes, planning, projecting and construction of green buildings. Government, non-government and branch organizations, financial institutions and funds, consultants, architects and engineers participated in the energy efficiency debate. Mr. Dimitar Doukov, the executive director of Energy Efficiency Fund took part as a speaker in the panel “Housing refurbishment finance schemes – opportunities, problems, actions. EU-funded programmes and measures”.
