Seminar “Enhancement of Public-Private-Partnership for Introduction of Energy Efficiency Measures and Renewable Energy Sources”
The Ministry of Economy and Energy (MEE) organized seminars on the topic “Enhancement of Public-Private-Partnership for Introduction of Energy Efficiency Measures and Renewable Energy Sources” in three Bulgarian cities (Pleven, Stara Zagora, and Sofia). The main aim of these seminars was to present the possible schemes for the implementation of public-private partnerships in a specific market such as the one for energy services and its derivatives on the basis of the existing public-private partnership practices.
The closing seminar took place on the 26th of February 2007 in Sofia. Lectures with current information on the legal basis in the country, financing via the opertational perogrammes of the EU and other finacing machanisms, as well as best practices were presented by the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Environment and Water, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, the Bulgarian Energy Efficiency Fund, the company “Enemona”, and the Dutch consultancy company ECOFYS.
